Use the correct calculation to determine your heating needs will keep your guests warm and fuzzy! Amerevent does this automatically for you!

Manufacturers require this formula: BTU’s of Heat needed/hour = CF Tent Volume × Temperature Rise Factor × .25 (Tent R Factor)

CF volume use = Length x Width x 15-ft ave. ht.; for temperature rise use = 70oF - less minimum expected temperature during use (say 40oF), so 70-40=30 .

To stay at 70oF, a 40x60 tent at 40oF outside temperature, requires:  (40x60x15) x (70-40) x .25 or 270,000 BTU's (270  KBTU) of heat.

For added safety, carbon monoxide detectors are available for use in all heated tents. No alarms reported in 15 years of heater rentals.

Fire Marshall approved fire extinguishers with current annual inspection label required in tents.

This beautiful new design heater includes a heat-proof glass tube that flames pass up trough, providing an incredible ambiance and both I/R and air heat. Uses standard 20# LPG cylinder (order separately). Heats up to 10-hours per fill at full output.

These propane are the workhorse tent heaters in the rental industry. Burn clean propane at up to 250,000 BTU's an hour depending upon model. NATURAL GAS units also available that can connect to your exiting gas supply so you never need change cylinders! A single 20# LPG cylinder lasts 2-1/2 hours on the 80K BTU or 80-90 minutes on the 175 model. Two, three and four cylinder connector hoses available for easy changeover and longer runs. Also thermostats available to keep your temperature right where you want it while saving fuel.

Low cost propane tube heaters have 60,000-150,000 BTU outputs and are great for one or two day events that need heat fast. Because of their lower size and output, multiple units can be afforded - this helps provide even heating throughout the event area. Tanks are typically located outside the tent and propane hosed to the unit.

 

Standard 20-lb propane tanks can be used with 1. 2 or 3 connection feed hoses for longer runs & easy fill or replacement at local stores!
