DEFINITION: A clear top tent is a flat ridge frame tent with
a clear vinyl canvas top.
It is free-span, having no internal
poles to support the top. The BIG difference is the special
transparent polymer used to make the top. This clear vinyl
is layered with a network of polymer mesh netting to strengthen the top and
all
heat welded together. Overlapping seems
create window frames to the sky.
Cleartop tents can be anchored using stakes or
water
and concrete weights that
that do not damage paved surfaces. Clear top tents
have a flat top
"ridge" line and slope down to the sidepoles on the ends.
Pricing is 0.85-$1.25 per square foot (SF) for standard 7 or 8-ft sides or $1.00-$1.50
per SF for taller 10-ft
sides. |

Clear top
tents are now available in 20, 30 and 40-ft wide frame, from 20-ft
to 120-ft long depending upon model, serving from 40 to 500 guests at tables. Cleartop frame tents provide an
open structure with no center poles
and give the most usable space of any tent. They can
be staked or weight anchored.

– a custom design only at AMEREVENT. This beautiful formal tent
combines the best features of high-peak, clear-top and frame in
a unique 800 SF freespan cleartop center for dancing and
entertaining with 2-10 outflanking 400 square foot high peak
freespan frame tents for 80-400 guests. We inside, the tent
appears to be one large room with multiple peaks and
eye-appealing wall angles. A beautifully different approach
combining the benefits of both high peak and clear top tents -
