TENT & EVENT FANS - AIR CONDITIONING

TENT BOX FANS are the MOST EFFECTIVE - LEAST COST cooling option, come in centerpole or rafter mount and can keep a white top tent comfortable in 90oF outdoor temperatures.

A CENTERPOLE MOUNT FAN SYSTEM is used on tension (pole) tents. Three (3) 20-in 120VAC box fans are mounted about 10-ft high using a custom mounting bracket developed by Amerevent. One set is used on each centerpole and cover a complete 360o circle around the pole with gently moving air up to 30-ft away.

A RAFTER MOUNT FAN SYSTEM is used on frame (clearspan) tents. Two (2) 20-in 120VAC box fans are mounted either near the sidewall or near the peak using a custom mounting system developed by Amerevent. One set is used every 20-ft or so (a 40x60 tent would typically have 4-6 sets).

BOX FAN STANDS --- WITH FREE REWARDS! These quiet high volume 18"-20" box fans are easily user re-locatable and can be adjusted to three different speeds. Due to their low cost, low noise, nice appearance and high air flow, these have become the favorite fan for Amerevent events. Standard black color with other colors available. 120 VAC with anchor weights.

STANDARD TENT POLE FANS --- WITH FREE REWARDS! These quiet high volume fans attach to the sidepoles of any commercial tent or can connect to fence poles or other similar items at your venue. Fans have three user adjustable speeds and oscillating fan head. 16-in to 18-in diameter fan blades. White color fits all decor. 120 VAC. Inexpensive and effective!

MISTING

Misting can be inexpensively added to the edges of your tent. Just connect to your garden hose and you are ready to go! Misting volume can be adjusted by adjusting the flow valve.

Portable water tanks and pressuring pumps are also available if there is no connection to a water system.

Tent fans will also help move the cooling mist around and increase the evaporative cooling effect.

PORTA-AC units are large standard air conditioning units that cool about 200-300 SF of tent per ton of cooling. Tents being practically outdoors need 4 times the cooling of insulated buildings. While a 3000-SF home may use 4-tons of A/C, a 3000-SF tent needs 16-tons or more. CLEAR TOP TENTS require even more (30%-40% more cooling to offset the greenhouse effect)!

A big advantage with PORTA-AC over other types of cooling is these units dehumidify as they cools, giving more effective cooling by removing water from skin. Depending upon room size and sealing, temperatures of 74-78°F are typical. Tent fans increase the efficiency of the cooling by removing evaporation from the skin. Amerevent has all the electrical cables and Larger 25-ton skid mounted units come with their own generator trailer to power the A/C and your event's electrical needs.

BY USING FANS WITH A/C UNITS you can reduce your A/C needs 20% or more, lowering your costs while providing greater comfort to your guests.

PRE-EVENT sun shield recommended for CLEAR TOP TENTS!  Cleartop tents require 30-50% more air conditioning and should be covered during daylight hours prior to use to prevent the greenhouse heating effect. If sidewalls are used to fully enclose tent during summer months there is no assurance given that cooling can keep up with demand during daylight hours, but this is less of an issue after dusk.
