Events such as product launches, live performances and
building or art dedications commonly use a kabuki curtain drop to
provide the audience with mystery, surprise, excitement and a focus. The
drop is set up by suspending the curtains on hooks or magnetic clamps
that can be released using a remote control positioned off stage. |

DEFINITION: KABUKI KERU™ or "Kabuki Drop" is a technique where a lightweight fabric drape is quickly dropped from the ceiling to reveal the stage,
performer or product. A two stage Kabuki drop allows a curtain to first drop hiding the stage, performer or product and then this is later itself dropped for the reveal.
